Spond – how to book into club sessions
Background.
Spond is a phone App, used by many clubs to schedule and manage payments of club events. Fleet Aces schedule sessions on multiple days of the week, at differing times and at differing locations. The locations largely depend on where multiple courts can be booked.
A session host will plan coaching, drills and / or playlists before the session. A maximum number of attendees is set to provide a good amount of court time for attendees.
Guidelines
- Session invitations are released 2 weeks in advance. If a session is full, you can join the waiting list. If someone drops out beforehand you will be invited to take their

Within 48 hours of a session
- You can decline a session up to 48 hours before the session start
- After that, use the “Send Message to Hosts” button in the Spond event. Letting the host know you cannotmake it, reduces the host’s personal concern as to why you do not turn up. If it is a late withdrawal, it may be worth also trying other methods to contact the host and to explain.
- You will not receive a refund for that If there are extenuating circumstances, then the committee may choose to provide a refund.
- Not showing up for a session and not communicating is disrespectful to the host and the other attendees.Don’t be that person.
- If you wish to join within 48 hours of the session and spaces are available, use the “Send Message to Hosts”button in the Spond It is at the host’s discretion as to whether or not they will be able to include you.
